Young Ryze was one of the first skins to ever be released for League of Legends. The cost at this time is unknown, but in the players-eyes, this skin is incredibly valuable in terms of rarity. Those who pre-ordered the game before (October 27th, 2009) were lucky enough to obtain this very awesome skin.
Ever since the release of League of Legends, Young Ryze has never been re-released. It has been impossible to obtain Young Ryze, and as such, less than 1% of league players actually have this skin, that’s a very small number if you compare it to the thousands of other players.
Young Ryze in detail
This skin doesn’t change much from its original counterpart. The only noticeable change is his new textures. The new textures overall are quite a nice overhaul to Ryze and represent what the “young” version of Ryze would visually look like.
Young Ryze at this point in time is an ancient skin that is very old and often forgotten about. Only a few players have ever got their hands on this incredibly rare, and limited skin.
Is Young Ryze worth it?
Since it is impossible to actually legitimately obtain Young Ryze, this guide will most likely not be relevant, but who knows, there may be a time where Riot might re-release this skin, and then you might be able to obtain it.
In theory, if Epic Games were to ever re-release this skin, then this skin would be totally worth it, considering it’s a very old skin, and old skins are highly sought after. Old skins are seen as collectibles or trophies. Therefore owning one of these skins, makes you feel “special”.
Conclusion
In conclusion, Young Ryze holds the title of being one of the rarest skins of all time in League of Legends. its scarcity, and lack of any re-releases, make this skin extremely valuable.
Overall I really like the design of this skin, and although it’s literally impossible to obtain this skin, I could imagine the owners of this incredibly rare skin, really enjoyed it, especially considering it was one of the first skins released during the 2009 era.
