It can be assumed that the inspiration for the designers of Riot Games was the movie “G.I Joe” because of the strong resemblance of Arctic Ops Varus to the character Snake Eye, only instead of a sword Varus has a bow, and a modern ninja suit complemented by a jacket with fur.

Arctic Ops Varus is a snow desert ninja. Every one of his unique abilities is now made in Arctic style and has a passive aura of falling snowflakes. Varus’ bow has been updated to his Arctic camouflage and new skin sounds have been added.

With giants like Project: Varus, Dark Star Varus and Cosmic Hunter Varus, Arctic Ops Varus is just out of its league. But I think it’s definitely worth supporting Riot Games when they release skins like this, otherwise the quality of the skins will keep dropping.
