Definitely Not Blitzcrank Review
Definitely Not Blitzcrank skin is nailing it! This cool, yet downright hilarious League of Legends skin of the Definitely Not series was released on October 18, 2011. It takes us to an alternate future/universe where champions are beyond recognizable! Let’s dig deep into its lore, concept, design, sounds and animations as well as its unique features, how to get it and what gamers say about it.
Lore
In this alternate universe, Blitzcrank forgets he’s an indestructible steam golem, instead pretending to be a human – donning a jacket, shirt and tie; big gloves, a wig and even Groucho glasses to try blend in. His Definitely Not Blitzcrank skin is all about his striving to understand humans – it doesn’t always make perfect sense but man alive , it’s certainly amusing watching him attempt pass-off himself as one of us!
Concept and Inspiration
On October 18, 2011, the Definitely Not Blitzcrank skin hit store shelves and brought its humorous take on Blitzcrank’s endeavour to fit in with humans. Although the concept of a robot impersonating humans is nothing groundbreaking, this particular skin executed it with finesse. After all, that’s what these Definitely Not skins are all about – making champions look utterly silly! And did they nail that with Definitely Not Blitzcrank!
Design, Sound Effects, and Animations
The Definitely Not Blitzcrank skin has some decent changes to the robot’s look. He rocks a slick jacket and matching shirt and tie, plus a huge pair of gloves, a bushy wig, AND Groucho glasses so he looks almost human! Don’t expect any new particles or animations though – it’s still hilarious as-is. But no sound effects either – bummer! Still, it’ll make you chuckle everytime you see it wandering across the Rift.
Unique Features
Definitely Not Blitzcrank is a truly unforgettable skin, bursting with comical design – even though it doesn’t feature any new animations or particles. Being part of the legacy skins collection, which only become accessible when the vault re-opens, this one certainly isn’t as rare as some of its kin. So if you’re feeling like adding a funny touch to your character, this one’s definitely worth checking out!
Obtainability in 2023
Unfortunately, to purchase Definitely Not Blitzcrank for 975 Riot Points in the in-game store you have to wait for the opening of the iconic Legacy Vault or you can buy a Definitely Not Blitzcrank account right now from the Smurfmania store if you don’t want to wait.
